Sean Paul, Mims at Eaglepalooza

Comedians Aries Spears and Roy Woods Jr., will also make an appearance at the annual event as an opening act.
Campus Recreation announced the performers on its Web site Friday Oct. 30.
Sean Paul is known for his reggae-inspired dance songs.
Paul has been nominated for many international music awards, including his Grammy win for Best Reggae Album in 2004.
Mims, whose real name is Shawn Mims, is best known for his song, "This is Why I'm Hot," which reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2008, Mims had another hit with the single "Move if You Wanna."
Mike Frustaci, director of Board of Eagle Entertainment Programmers, was happy with student reactions. He has played an active role in planning Eaglepalooza since September.
"Students have been really excited, so far I have only heard good feedback," he said.
The event is sponsored by Board of Eagle Entertainment Programmers, Student Government and Campus Rec. This is the first time that B.E.E.P has been a part of planning Eaglepalooza.
Eaglepalooza is a weeklong event. The concert on Nov. 20 is the grand finale at the recreation fields. Admission will begin at 5 p.m. with performance beginning at 7:45 p.m. Activities such as, a mechanical bull, gladiator joust and a rock climbing wall will be available for students' entertainment.
Woods will take the stage for 15 minutes, followed by a 45 minute performance by Spears. Mims and Paul will close the night with their performances.
The event is free for FGCU students who bring a valid Eagle I.D. Tickets are available to the public for $15 online and $20 at the gate.
